EMAIL COMMENTS FROM DISATISFIED BUYERS Email Extracts from Buyers Buyer 1. I would like to point out that there is obviously either some confusion or misunderstanding from your end or the supplier's side. In your last e-mail, which was sent to my Philippine mail address, you asked me to investigate if the battery compartment was dry and to supply a picture to that extent, which I did. Either nobody has really read my first mail after the flooding occurred, or it was not understood. I clearly described there that the flooding did not happen at the nose cone seal, i.e. battery compartment, but at the motor compartment. I don't really understand why this is now in doubt again. In all likelihood the failure point is the shaft seal, at least at one unit, while it may be the scarred O-ring of the motor compartment at the other unit. I have described that all in detail in my first mail Buyer 2.The product itself looks fine and I will have it in the water soon No instruction book or warranty papers in the carton for the seadoo sescooter , for $1600+ I do The charger for the seadoo sescooter is a Chinese 110 v AC input only unit, fitted with a US The nose for the seadoo seascooter would not budge when I released the catches and I had to I am always nervous about Chinese quality but of course in this case The instruction notes for the seadoo seascooter clearly state that the o-rings are silicone Is mine a typical sedoo seascooter unit or is it a very early version? From my I expected to find a simple gel-cel battery inside, but was surprised I will source some o-rings today and let you know my choice If you would be so kind as to check out some of this and reassure me
3. I was hoping that you may have some answers from the supplier by 4. 5.. One of my Aquanauts has a fault as it has got water in the motor housing area, looks like the join between plastic and the black seal has not been fully joined. It has been used maybe twice. 6. My Aquanaut stop working on the weekend, I am not sure of the problem it just does not seem to work. 7 . Dolphin just stopped working after 3 weeks
8.Upon internal inspection prior to entering the battery compartment, i observed signs of moisture residue in the various corners, on tasting it was salty suggesting seawater. Anyway i went deeper into the battery compartment, very difficult to remove, a sign of things to come. After much straining (i wish they would create a tool to help here!) I removed the battery compartment base to reveal a mess. The PC board was wet and stuffed completely as was the base connector that it plugs into, also the wiring into the motor had now had it. Digging deeper underneath, the motor and surrounding area was wet buggered rusting and smelly (burnt out). I decided it wasn't cost effective to go any further. The scooter is not worth repairing, even assuming all the parts are available. It is not obvious as to how the unit got wet in the first place. Trying to repair it may just continue the problem. 9. Dolphin just stopped working ( one after 1 day) will not run “ I had another Dolphin stop on the Weekend, really weird as it just won't go similar to the Aquanaut I just sent back.”
10. You Subsequent study of the 12.With the batch I just received I have one that has been used once and when you connect the battery it starts running at a slow speed without the blue buttons being engaged. When you push in blue buttons it increases speed for a moment then reverts back to a slow speed like an idle, and continues running the only way to stop is disconnecting battery. I will return this today, as I see this as a manufacture problem as it went in the pool for approx 30 mins.
13.We ran three batteries through and the same problem occurred on all occasions. We also used two battery chargers with the same results. Would it be okay if we removed the propeller guard for ease of posting or would they require the unit completely intact ? Also, could you please advise on your address so we can send back for repair and many thanks
14. A complete replacement would be fantastic as it was a little disappointing being out on the reef with my new toy broken !! I will wait to hear from you and thanks

To save cost I suggest you can send 1pc to us if all of them have the same problem. 15. Sorry for my late. Could you call your buyer send 1 pc defective explorer to our office. Pls make sure the product is not unassembled when you send to us. Address is below:
16. with only one snorkel test a device which is >> supposed to take me down to 50m doesn't work! >> >> Please contact me urgently to discuss rectification. Do I need to send you >> the battery back or do you need the whole scooter, charger & >> battery? >> >> I had planned to do a lot of diving with this unit in the next few weeks
17. 18. I have a dud explorer battery and even though it does not hold a charge > the lights sill come on the circuit board so I will have to ask you to > return the battery and charger first for checking with a copy of the > COD receipt.
19. Will you replace the Seadoo as I did arrive not working and
20. Furthermore, as per your email dated 24 November 2008 upon contacting the electrian provided by you which was to no avail we had the battery tested which was found to be useless. The battery was charging but when placed under a haulage tester it proved very weak. The explanation I was given for this was that the battery must have been sitting for a very long time without being charged. I therefore purchased two new batteries at a cost of $164.90, one to replace the one provided by you and a further one to have on standby for when the first one ran out. The battery still proved not to work. We have since taken the seascooter to an auto electrician who has looked at the seadoo and we have been advised that the circuit board is faulty. We are in the process of seeing whether we can obtain a circuit |
